All wineries on the trail charge for tastings and flights, with prices typically ranging from $5 to $15. No reservations are needed for tastings. Advance notice for larger groups is highly recommended, especially for weekday visits. Notifying wineries ahead of time helps ensure proper staffing and allows us to provide the best possible tasting experience for your group.
Some wineries offer on-site lodging, and there are many cabins and bed and breakfasts located throughout the Shawnee Hills Trail.
Winery tours are available at select locations. Please contact individual wineries directly for information on tour availability and booking.
All wineries on the trail are open year-round. Hours may vary by location and season, so it’s recommended to check with individual wineries before visiting.
While we welcome motor coaches, buses and limos to our wineries, they MUST abide by state liquor laws AND individual winery policies.
By Law we cannot serve anyone who is intoxicated nor are they permitted into a public establishment. If you have someone that is over the legal limit, please leave them on the bus or your entire group may be asked to leave.
By Law you cannot bring alcohol onto winery property. Leave all alcohol on the bus or your entire group may be asked to leave.
We strongly recommend that you DO NOT consume alcohol on your bus/shuttle in between winery visits.
Any unlawful or disruptive behavior at our wineries will not be tolerated.
Prior to booking your transportation along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, please check with your tour provider to see if they are currently able to bring guests to the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail or if their services have been suspended due to not following Shawnee Hills Wine Trail policies.
Pets on leashes are allowed outside at all wineries, however, they are not allowed INSIDE of all wineries.
